Before joining the Young Pioneers, each class of Grade One guided students to master the basic knowledge of the Young pioneers through a variety of learning methods in terms of ‘knowing the name, flag, logo, badge, founders and leaders as well as the style of the Young Pioneers’, ‘knowing how to wear a red scarf, how to salute, how to sing the Young Pioneers song, how to recite the Young Pioneers entry oath, in addition to how to write the application for join the Young Pioneers’ and ‘doing a good deed for the people before joining the Young Pioneers’. After collective evaluation, assessment and submission of application forms, 62 Young Pioneers joined the Young Pioneers with honor. 

Later on, at the Young Pioneers induction ceremony, the children raised their right hands and swore loudly under the guidance of the Young Pioneers counselor: Get ready to fight for the cause of communism! Therefore, it’s believed that they will bear in mind the teachings of the Party under the guidance of the Young Pioneers flag, and strive to be excellent young pioneers in the new era!

Subsequently, the school leaders awarded the Young Pioneers flag to the newly-built squadron of Grade One, awarded medals to the students who won one star in the Red Scarf Contest, and issued certificates to the students who won the honorary titles of ‘Good Campus Teenager in the New Era’, ‘Outstanding Student Cadre’ and ‘Merit Students’ in the annual evaluation.
